Celebrate the festival of Chanukah with the North Leeds community!

Torah Tots
At the Chabad-Lubavitch Centre, your tiny tots (ages 0 – five) can enjoy a morning of songs, stories and doughnuts from 10am–12pm on Sunday 2nd December. Get into the Chanukah spirt and stuff your own dreidel or join the bagel brunch. Tickets are just £5 per family.

Grammar School at Leeds

GSAL are welcoming all families and alumni to its annual Chanukah celebration on Tuesday 4th December in the theatre foyer from 4pm. Join them for the lighting of the menorah and enjoy traditional foods.


Victoria Square
Spread the light of Chanukah and join the community in Leeds city centre for a public menorah lighting in the city centre 2nd– 10th of December. Witness the public lighting at Victoria Square each day, led by Rabbi Cohen and stay in town for some retail therapy!

The Lord Darcy
Head over to The Lord Darcy on Harrogate Road on Sunday 9th December at 6pm for the public menorah lighting. Afterwards, put your knowledge to the test at JMT Events’ annual Chanukah Pub Quiz and treat yourself to a doughnut or two! Early bird tickets are £8 or £30 for a team of five.

BHH Leisure Club
BHH Leisure Club invites you to its children’s Chanukah party on Sunday 9th December. There’s plenty of fun to be had from dreidel making and doughnut making to mosaic art. Booking must be made before 7th December at 12pm and tickets are just £4 per child.

LJWB are hosting a special celebration Chanukah party at the MAZCC on Tuesday 4th December from 2pm until 4pm. Join the welfare board for afternoon tea, entertainment and candle lighting by Rabbi Sufrin. Admission is free; however booking is required due to limited spaces.
