Wigton Moor playschool in Alwoodley is hosting a free entry fair on 16th May.
Wigton Moor Playschool is holding its spring fair ‘ Make it in May’ on 16th May.
The playschool is inviting local tradespeople to come and sell their wares, as well as holding workshops where people will be able to come and learn new skills, like quilting and sewing.
The fair currently comprises over 10 stalls selling a variety of homemade goodies ranging from bags, bunting, home accessories, cards, jewellery and other gifts. Plus there will be plenty for the children to do, such as badge making, bag decorating and headband embroidering.
There will be homemade fudge, sauces and relishes and Cotton Cocktails will be hosting a quilting workshop. On top of this, they’ll have the traditional attractions such as face painting, bouncy castle, cake and second-hand book stall and a visit from Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
The free entry fair takes place at Wigton Moor United Reformed Church in Alwoodley from 1 – 4 pm.
