The class of Dancing Strictly 2016!

This year’s Manchester Maccabi’s Dancing Strictly was a hot-stepping success!

The Dancehouse Theatre was packed out on 9th October for another edition of Dancing Strictly in aid of Manchester Maccabi. The 10 intrepid amateur dancers stepped onto the dancefloor and competed for the coveted glitter ball trophy under the watchful eyes of judges Robyn Price, Ralph Casson, Juliette Lewis and JLife’s own Elliot Landy. The presenters for the evening, Simone Pinkus and Elliot Basso, fielded the judges’ comments as the contestants waited expectantly for their scores. The audience was also treated to performances from the junior dance groups Strictly Kool and Strictly Juniors, who trained, along with the senior dancers, at Cadmans Dance Centre in the months leading up to the special night.

In a spectacular finale, Sharon Gross and Wendy Schweiger were announced as joint winners of this year’s contest. Over £10,000 was raised for Manchester Maccabi and its beneficiaries.
