The Cotton Factory offers a relaxed setting for Valentine’s Day dining

Cotton On

Located within Whitworth Locke hotel, The Cotton Factory is a relaxed affair for those not looking for the showy, kitschy side of Valentine’s Day in Manchester this year. The Factory is a restaurant that has a rotating bill of independent chefs and food businesses, and taco makers El Camino recently made way for Peru Perdu for the next six months.

A distinctive South American eatery, the menu has been designed with guidance from top chef David Gale, whose foodie resume includes the Hilton, ABode and One Eighty Eight in Whitefield. The Peru Perdu team put their own stamp on the restaurant space with a ceviche and Chandon counter, serving signature raw fish dishes including tuna and sea bass paired with wines from Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay. And for couples that prefer a cocktail, the South American theme will carry on at The Cotton Factory bar with a range of signature Peruvian pisco sours.
