Smart Gallery Opens Its Doors in Chapel Allerton

By June 13, 2019 Leeds Community News

Smart Gallery recently opened its doors in the heart of Chapel Allerton, selling a wide range of art, sculpture and designware as well as offering a bespoke framing service.

With 18 years’ experience in the business, Shelley Frieze is excited to be introducing new local artists to the gallery portfolio along with regular exhibitions, ‘meet the artist’ events and preview evenings.

After a successful opening party with top selling local artist Danny Abrahams as its guest, the next event will be a special preview evening on 14th June from 7pm until 9pm. This exhibition will celebrate the life and work of iconic artist Henri Matisse. There will be a variety of well-known prints along with some rare lithographs, with everything framed and available to buy on the night. This special collection will be coming from London and will be the perfect opportunity to view and purchase with prices ranging from £450 to £1,250. The exhibition will run for two weeks only and all artwork will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Call into the gallery and you will be offered tailored advice to purchase the right piece of art or sculpture for your home. To make buying art as easy as possible Shelley offers a free ‘try before you buy’ service. Take any piece of artwork home for two days, live with it, and if you like it you can pay over the phone, or simply return it, whatever works best for you.

Smart Gallery has over 35 different artists to choose from, framed and ready to hang straight on your wall. If you are unable to visit the gallery, visit the website to peruse their selection and Shelley will be happy to deliver anything to you.
